I provide independent disciplinary investigations and employment law advice to organisations across the UK.

I am typically engaged in:

  • Carrying out independent disciplinary investigations

  • Chairing disciplinary and appeal hearings

  • Advising on high-risk dismissals

  • Reviewing investigations and evidential robustness

  • Supporting senior HR decision-making in complex cases

My work focuses on ensuring that decisions are fair, evidence-based and capable of withstanding scrutiny, including in Employment Tribunal proceedings.

I use Forensic Employment Dispute Analysis(FEDA) to help employers assess disputes realistically before unnecessary costs begin to escalate.

This approach gives organisations a clear-eyed view of where they actually stand before committing to full litigation.

FEDA is a system that I created and developed to allow an employer involved in an employment dispute to make a commercial decision on when and for how much to settle an employment dispute or go all the way to a Tribunal.

FEDA aims to minimise employer cost, time and effort on such litigation through a rigorous review of the facts and evidence from the employee and the employer.

But that is not the only benefit. FEDA identifies weaknesses in the employer’s system that can be ‘repaired’ to avoid a similar problem in the future.

Organisations typically engage me where:

  • Independence is required

  • Cases are complex or sensitive

  • Dismissal decisions carry legal or reputational risk

  • Investigations need external review

  • Senior HR judgement calls require additional support
